Why do we have so many websites? Firstly at the time of purchase all website names were available and free of any trademark or registration rights and they are prime URL real-estate so to speak so it made sense to buy them. Secondly this business is full of fly by nighters all offering the world and providing little but false cars and prices to unsuspecting buyers.

These sellers both in Japan and elsewhere globally are leaving a sour taste for many potential car buyers who have been misled about Japanese Car Auctions. Our aim is to change this even by a little if possible, this is another reason we use URLs as our outreach, offering a transparent and safe buying platform for buyers wanting a secure buying service in Japan.

Founded by Graeme Cooke, a seasoned auction agent and exporter with more than 25 years in the Japanese car market, Used Cars Co Ltd was created to provide a fresh alternative to the opaque world of car imports. Having been one of the original exporters through Auto Trader Imports, we’ve built deep connections within Japan’s major auction houses, including full access to premier networks such as USS Ninja.
